The American Massage Therapy Association's AMTA National Convention returned for the first time in three years on August 25-27 in Cleveland, Ohio. Massage therapists, teachers, and students gathered from around the country to listen to inspiring speakers, get hands-on training, and see the latest in massage therapy products. Michael Phelps was the Opening Session Keynote Speaker on Thursday morning as he shared his journey with mental health, his road to becoming the most successful Olympian of all time, and how sports massage helped to keep him in peak condition.

Author and business leader W. Mitchell kicked off Friday morning with the question, “Are the unexpected changes facing you today setbacks, or could they be exciting new starting points?”

Mick Ebeling, listed by Fortune Magazine as one of the Top 50 World’s Greatest Leaders, closed out the convention on Saturday, inspiring attendees to defy the impossible and see how they can help make an impact one story and one client at a time.

Between the keynote speakers, attendees were able to choose from over 30 session of offerings and earn 15+ CE credits, and enjoy a first-timers lunch, an opening night reception, and a closing reception. View highlights from the convention below!
