Successful Hands Grants Awarded

By Editorial Staff

Cortiva Institute instructor Dianna Lynn Jungels was awarded a $750 Successful Hands grant package at the American Massage Conference School Rally held May 1, 2015, at Massage Warehouse's headquarters in Bolingbrook, Ill.

The Successful Hands Grant Program™, launched through the collaborative efforts of Biofreeze®, Massage Envy Spa® and Bon Vital'®, supports the professional massage therapy student and their schools.

"As a relatively new instructor at the Cortiva Institute in Joliet, Ill., I attended last week's AMC conference knowing that it would benefit my teaching career and my personal growth. I truly enjoyed the experience and being surrounded by like-minded people who share my passions — massage for the past 20 years, and now teaching massage classes," said Ms. Jungels. "We're planning to use the grant for an appreciation celebration for the Joliet campus. Everyone there has been such a great help to me in my new career, and they care deeply about the students and the school." Cortiva Institute is a member of the Steiner Education Group, which is a subsidiary of Steiner Leisure Limited, a global provider of spa services.

"We'll be awarding two $500 Successful Hands student grants at the Smart From The Start student program at the June AMC Conference, so I encourage all students to attend and to join us on Facebook," said Performance Health Vice President, Massage Therapy and Spa, Lynda Solien-Wolfe.
