Massage Today is Going Green

go green Beginning with the February issue, readers will notice a change in the format of Massage Today. For our long-time, loyal readers, the publication might remind them of the newsprint publications of the past. However, we aren't moving backward, we're actually taking a giant leap forward. Thanks to advances in printing technology and reader input, Massage Today will begin to utilize a more environmentally friendly printing process next month.

It's called cold set printing. Cold set web presses use far less energy and produce far fewer volatile organic compounds than their heat set counterparts.

But, it's more than just the printing. It's the paper, too. The paper involved in printing Massage Today comes from sustainable North American forests and each issue will be produced using recycled paper. The inc used is soy based and also emits little or no volatile organic compounds. The plates used for the actual printing process are also make of completely recycled materials. While the format is changing, the excellent content our readers have come to expect remains the same. You will still find your favorite columnists each month and even more great content on our website, www.massagetoday.com.
