In light of this, The International Spa Association has elected to postpone the 2003 Asia-Pacific Conference originally scheduled for April 24-26; the new date for the conference is August 29-31 at the Taipei International Convention Center.

The 15,000-square-foot Spa at Mandarin Oriental in Miami, Fla., which opened in December 2002, is a tri-level facility boasting a view of the Biscayne Bay and 17 private treatment rooms furnished with bamboo, rice paper, glass and natural linens to help create a "harmonious balance." The spa offers a wide range of holistic treatments; a fitness center; a swimming pool; and male and female sauna and steam rooms.
