The World Spa by Clinique La Prairie is in full swing aboard The World of ResidenSea, the first-ever resort community at sea. The 7,000 square-foot spa includes extensive spa treatment facilities; an aqua spa; gym; exercise room; sauna; and full-service hair and beauty salon. The ship, which offers 110 fully furnished luxury residences and 88 guest suites, continuously circumnavigates the globe, making periodic stops at various international ports of stay.

Avanyu, a 13,000 square-foot, full-service spa, will open at the Equinox Resort in Manchester Village, Vermont in early 2003. The facility, intended to capture the natural energy and healing atmosphere flowing from the renowned Equinox Springs, will include a comprehensive massage and body therapy menu, a heated indoor pool, and a complete fitness center.

Closed since December 2000 for major renovation, La Réserve Genéve is set to reopen its doors next month. The hotel, nestled on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland, will feature an expansive spa and wellness center, complete with 18 private massage and treatment rooms, whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, and indoor and outdoor pools. Renowned Parisian decorator Jacques Garcia was commissioned to refurbish the property following its 1999 purchase by an independent entrepreneur.
