The Best of the Best in the Spa Industry

By Editorial Staff

Results of the annual Condé Nast Traveler reader survey have been released, revealing travelers' top choices for destination, resort, cruise line and urban hotel spas in North America and the Caribbean.

The magazine commissioned the independent firm of Mark Clements Research, Inc. to survey a random sampling of 4,000 readers. Participants were asked to rate a total of 230 spas that they had visited in the previous three years.

Evaluation criteria for destination spas included location/setting; rooms; diet/cuisine; staff/service; treatments; and program/facilities.
