The Georgia World Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia will host Spacifically 2002, "The Conference & Exposition for Spa, Resort & Hotel Executives." This year's show, scheduled for October 6-8, can accommodate 215 exhibitor booths, a 40-percent increase from last year's convention.

Spacifically 2002 is the third annual show organized by Tarsus Group USA and its founder/director, Karen Crawford. The first show was held in Los Angeles, California in 2000; the 2001 show took place at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California. The shows focus on successful spa management, with specific emphasis on what determines a profitable spa venture.

"This is a show for any executive who is or may become involved with operating a profitable spa," said Ms. Crawford. "That means spa, hotel and resort operators, owners and directors; beauty and wellness professionals; real estate managers; architects; builders; travel professionals; nutritionists; chefs; and other related executives." She also noted that, because massage and massage-related services are featured in most spas and spa settings, a large number of massage industry professionals participate in the event's conference programs and exhibits each year.
