AMTA Publishes Health Care Career Success Guide
Second Career Success Guide Inserted in MTJ
Evanston, IL - The American Massage Therapy Association® (AMTA®) has published the second in its series of career success guides titled, "Working in a Health Care Environment". Following up on the previous publication for massage therapists who want to work in a spa, this booklet focuses on what a massage therapist can expect when working in a health care location, how to prepare for this kind of work and the likely employment opportunities for massage therapists in health care in coming years.
Provided to AMTA members in their Spring issue of MTJ, it also features profiles of two massage therapists who work in different types of health care situations. The career success guides for health care and spa, and other information for career development for professionals and students are available at www.amtamassage.org/health_care_settings and https://www.amtamassage.org/CareerGuidance. The content of AMTA's award-winning association magazine MTJ is available at www.amtamassage.org/mtj/ .
